ANNOUNCEMENT From 12/3/06:

I got sick.

I got the stomach flu.
Luckily, it was only a 24-hour stomach flu.

I got it from one of my dad's friends at that Ward Christmas Party. He shook hands with his friend. Then, after that, his friends told him his family had the stomach flu the day before. So my dad was all like:

I was afraid Konnor'd get it... 'Cause we hung out on Saturday.

But yeah, I was half-past dead yesterday I puked about 6 times yesterday and had 12 helpings of diahhrea (sp?) to go with it
Me an' my dad were both sick, so we shared a bed, ate soup, watched a couple movies, slept a LOT...
I also passed out for the first time yesterday
It was wierd O.o
First, i was in the bathroom after pukin'. I got really burned up. Then everything went black...
I remember hearing a banging sound... (that was me hitting the bathroom door...)
My first thought after waking up was: ...How'd I get here...?
Then my dad was all freaggin' out. Then he got it from helping me up so..

It was really, really bothersome.
Every time I'd eat something that was s'posed to stay in my stomach, I'd puke it up every hour... And my whole body'd ache... It was hard to sleep for a long time.
I miss drinking water -_-
But anyway... That was the worst 24 hours of my life. I'd rather have broke an arm or two rather than having a stomach flu

So, if any of you kids get the stomach flu this year, remember this:

Eat some jello. Hopefully, some warm jello, so it'll stay in your stomach. It tastes bad, but it helps!

Drink some chicken noodle soup broth. At least that anyway. If you're up to stuffing your stomach with the whole spiel, be careful... yuh could up-chuck it later.

Drink either 7-Up, Gatorade, or Powerade. Not water.
They have certain vitamins that help ease your stomach, so they're good for you.

Sleep as much as you can! Even if you're totally achey and stuff, try to sleep. If you arent tired though, just sit up in bed and watch a movie, read, listen to music, until you fall asleep...
... or other stuff happens...

Try to avoid people who've had the stomach flu the day before! Even though they're over it, they're still carriers!
Bewaaaaare...
