ANNOUNCEMENT FROM 7/5/07

Well, I had a nice Fourth of July - hope you kiddos did too.

I'm not much of a fireworks person - yes, fireworks are pretty, but all I'm interested in is the Poppers and Sparklers.
I didn't get/want any of those this year.
Nope.
This year, there was a ward breakfast, and I went and hung out with Dallin and Luke.
Those guys are so awesome.
After they ate, we went to the playground (this breakfast was at the park, and down a-ways there's a playground infested with kids) and there's this pully-swing thing, right?
It's a swing that's attachted to a cable, and you get pushed on a swing across it, hit this thing, and slide back.
At the Reinessance Fair (which was last Saturday, and I went there with Konnor, Andrew, and Luke) we couldn't get on the swing because all these kids kept cutting ;-;
It hurt my feelings. ;-;
It made Luke mad.
But he did feel happy when I let him wear my jingly necklace at the playground
He looked very.. studdish in it

So I wanted to go on the swing during this breakfast thing.
And we did.
The swing is terrifying now.
Never have Luke and Dallin push you on that swing at the same time, because when they do, you'd go about ten feet in the air, on the swing, you'll nearly hit your head on the... stoppy-thingy, and you will most likely almost fly out of the swing.
Okay, scratch that - don't let Luke push you on a cable swing. He has all the muscle.
Hanyway, I did that about four times before I got wigged out.

Then Luke went on the swing.
First belly down, when he hurt his tummy
[Nyeh, Betty...]
And then he went backwards a few times...
And two of those times he would lean back and let his head dig into the bark stuff. It was hilarious~!
And, of course, Dallin went a few times, mostly backwards. Then, Dallin and Luke went on the cable swing at the same time.
That was entertaining >D
Oh yeah, then we saw this little boy pull down his speedo thing and pee in the park.
I thought that was stoopid.
I wanted to slap that kid.
Or throw something at him...
Like poop.
See how he liked being wasted on.

Which reminds me, I saw Transformers finally.
I'm in love with Bumblebee.
I'm also in love with the fact that he 'lubricated' on that Sector 7 guy

Hokay, neeeext, Luke and Dallin and I watched part of Kung-Pow, because Dallin hadn't seen it yet.
(How can you NOT see Kung-Pow? It's only the best movie of all time.)
We giggled a lot whilst watching Kung-Pow. Dallin seemed to like it before he had to go home ;-;
He only got through half the movie becasue he had to spend time with family at a certain... time. So then, after Dallin left, Luke and I played Uno for about forever. Then we ate good food (prepared by my mom) and then we (with my mom and dad included) played Match Uno (it's just like regular Uno, just a little more vicious and... complicated. But uber fun. We all dealt out 10 cards at least each round to make it interesting).
I lost horribly.
I hate loosing to my dad.
And I hate it when my dad forms a pact with one of the other teammates, such as Luke.
I tried forming an alliance with my mom, and saved her butt, then she betrayed me ;-;

After that... Luke and I went down to 7-Eleven and got some sodas. My mom still owes me 5 bucks >.>
We came back and watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and THEN I was invited to go swimming with Luke.
Swimming was vicious, on Luke's part.

This little girl, Sienna and Luke's little sister, Li-Wan, brought a blow-up raft to the pool. Luke made the biggest mistake - flipping it over. After that, Sienna would follow Luke around and scratch him. Then he made a deal to pull them around for five minutes on the raft in exchange for... un-scratches...
Five minutes were up on riding on the raft (which I held onto the whole time, so I got a ride too ^^ ) but Sienna kept picking on Luke -_-
Then we finally told on her ^^
THEN she stopped.
Then me and Luke just played ball in the pool until Amanda and Jesse came. (Jesse then dove into the pool twice with his jeans on, but his pants would fall down because of the water, so we commanded him to pull up his pants)

Me and Luke were planning on walking aaaaaaaaaaall the way to the supermarket (which was clear across town) so we could run through the golf course and show Amanda the giant tubs of mayonnaise they had there
We ended up getting a ride to the golf course instead by Jesse, so I was happy.
I chased a few killdeers around
They are the cutest little birds!
They left little feet-prints in the sand.
There were these rakes there too, so me and Luke raked the sand a while before going to the supermarket. (I raked Gale's anme in the sand, but then Jesse trampled over it on purpose ;-;
But then he gave me a piggy-back ride to the market, so now we're even)
When we all did get there.. well, let's just say...
We scootered everywhere.
Yes, we rode those scooters - the ones for handicapped people.
It was so much fun!
They had horns on them, and every time you'd back up, it'd beep!
Luke and I honked at.. each other and at people...
We didn't get in trouble either. We spent about an hour in the supermarket, just riding around. Jesse stole Luke's ride a few times.
And we found the giant jars of lard too

I shoulda bought cookies instead of ice cream >.>

Hokay, then, after that, we went to my house and played Mario Party.... number something... on Amanda's Gamecube, which she brought over.
We didn't get that far because of Luke's curfew. I was sad when they left ;-;
Then I had to go to bed and couldn't talk to Luke when he got home -_-
Yup.
That was my fourth of July.
