So... I've decided to up my commission rates. For the time I spend on pictures and how much I charge... well, it's not even close to minimum wage. Not saying it isn't worth putting smiles on people's faces, but I wouldn't mind making somewhat of a living out of this. So, here is the updated cost of things:

Commission Rates

If you don't wanna buy a print, you can always request a commission!

Here are my hourly rates:

  • Line art: $10/hr

This and chibi will be the cheapest deal. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy

  • Shaded: $10/hr

This will be the regular deal, and takes less time to complete than a digital piece. The more complicated the piece, the higher the price!

  • Digital: $10/hr

This will definitely be the most expensive, because of hours of coloring. I'd suggest the first two, simply because I'm not as adept in the digital world.

  • Comic: $10 an hour for lines; $20 an hour for lines + ink; $40 for lines, ink, and color

Inking will double the rate. It's like I have to draw everything TWICE.

  • Chibi: $10/hr

I think that's simple and straightforward enough.

Note: I may ask for a retainer if it's a big project. A retainer is a small amount of money you pay up front (don't wanna get ripped off or nuthin), and you pay the rest ($/hr) after I finish a product. If you don't like what I've made, I will redo it over and over until you're satisfied with the final product. No extra charge.Otherwise, just $10 an hour. Discounts DO exist!... if I like you. Also remember - the bigger the canvas, the longer it may take to complete whatever it is I'm doing.

I accept PayPal, money orders, cash and checks.

As far as shipping goes, I try to get your prints and/or originals out there within three days' time. If it's gonna take longer, I will send you a notification.

If I'm doing a commission, I get to work and keep tabs on my hours. Once the piece is complete, I contact you and we discuss what you want changed/added to your piece (if its something really specific. And I may contact you multiple times just to make sure I'm on the right track). Once that's finished, I accept the $/hr and send you the ORIGINAL piece (unless its digital, then I just make you a print! No extra charge!) and take care of shipping myself.

As far as prints go, I'm trying out DeviantArt's printing system. To order a print of something that's already been made (but hasn't been made available as a print), please send me a PM, check my print store, or shoot an email to

So, here are my rates. $10 an hour. Pretty straightforward, right? If you have any complaints... well, I wont stop you! Complain away! : D Thank you guys for all your support and understanding!
